I couldn't get these images into an email for some reason, so I'm posting them on here :)
Before I suggested that you focus on the "before and after" element of your presentation, I decided to do a search to make sure there were actually some more before and after images out there.
I found a couple which I included below... I think those come from the same buildings... lol.
If you click on the image you should be taken to the website I found it on.
I also found this website, which has a lot of great images of ruins. You probably know what some of the buildings are, and may be able to find an image of them in their original condition.
